ObservaçõesThis fireball was very close, not across the sky but, rather, a few small fragments that appeared to be on fire just before they must had collided with the hill/trees just behind our neighbour's house. It was not like the meteor showers I have observed previously but very hard to explain as anything else. I contacted the Sky at Night magazine and they suggested reporting it on this website. See the detailed comment on the previous page for what it looked like.

Observações I think it was Tuesday 2nd November 2021 my wife any I saw something I've never seen before. Travelling almost horizontally and at a modest speed (like a car, I was able to say to Angela look at that and then we both had time to follow its track) we saw what looked like a few fragments of fire (much like a firework, the fragments slowly spreading slightly apart) travel just over a neighbour's house absolutely silently but only a matter of a few tens of yards away and, perhaps, at two or three times the height of our neighbour's house above the ground. The fiery fragments came from across the sea heading from East to West about a mile north of the Jura distillery on the Isle of Jura (no we hadn't been drinking). The time was early evening around dusk. We were right next to the sea and there wasn't anywhere obvious for the objects to have come from.
