ObservaçõesI observed the fireball as it entered my vision from my left side, and turned toward it once visible. It may have been visible before I saw it, as it came from the direction behind the corner of my house, to my left, away from which I was facing North-ish at the time. I have only reported what I saw, for complete accuracy. It was very bright, with some sparkle, with a mild trail, possibly red-ish/white in colour, (which may have been an imprint in my own vision). The timing count was "View, 2, 3, 4" as I repeated to myself afterward, so it was visible to me for approximately three seconds. Its track was in a North Easterly direction. I lost sight of it at an approx. 30 degree inclination. I have seen many meteors (One of the benefits of having to go outside to smoke a cigarette when in rented accomodation!), aswell as satellites, the ISS etc. and this elicited a "Wow! Wow! Wow!". It was the brightest and longest lasting meteor I think I have ever seen. I am rather thrilled. ( I would be prepared to believe it was a big bit of space junk / Chinese launcher stage burning up on re-entry, but I'm sure you can enlighten me.) This was such a bright and long lasting event that I am sure others will have seen it, and sky facing cameras for sure. I am intrigued if you are able to follow up with me on this. Many thanks, Phil.
