I was inside house at time of viewing and was surprised to hear any sound. I’ve stated it sounded like a distant car on highway but the sound of a wooden match being lit would also be a good description. It was not loud and had I not seen the light appear at the same time, I would not have thought much about the sound. Time is approximate (within a few minutes).

I did not see the flash (object was out of my field of vision) directly but I did see a moving shadow cast on my living room wall that grew in intensity and then faded over the course of about 2-3 seconds after it left my field of view.
